How App Clips work.

Redeem your JoyPass gifts instantly without downloading an app. Follow these 3 simple steps to enable the "magical" redemption button on your pass.

STEP 1

Open your pass in Apple Wallet

Once you've added your JoyPass to your Apple Wallet, tap to open it. This is your digital IOU, ready to be used at any time.

STEP 2

Access Pass Details

Tap the three dots (...) in the top right corner of the pass to open the options menu, then select "Pass Details".

  • Tap the Options menu

STEP 3

Launch the App Clip

Inside Pass Details, you'll see a link that says "Open in App Clip" (or just "Open"). Tap this to launch the JoyPass redemption interface.

Important!

You only need to do this ONCE to onboard the App Clip to your device.

The Magic Button

After you've opened the App Clip for the first time, your Apple Wallet pass will transform. You'll now see a JoyPass icon in the bottom left corner of the pass.

Tap to redeem anytime!

This "invocation button" is your shortcut. Next time you want to redeem a use of your gift, just tap that icon directly on the pass!
